Description

Juicy pork shoulder wrapped in soft corn tortillas, topped with fresh onions, cilantro, and your choice of salsa, embodying the rich flavors of Mexican cuisine.


Ingredients

  • Pork Shoulder
  • Soft Corn Tortillas
  • Onions
  • Cilantro
  • Lime Juice
  • Salsa (verde or roja)
  • Pineapple (optional)
  • Cumin
  • Paprika
  • Chili Powder
  • Oregano
  • Salt

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Pork: In a large mixing bowl, massage the pork shoulder with cumin, paprika, chili powder, lime juice, and salt until well coated. Cover and let marinate for at least 120 minutes or, preferably, overnight for the deepest flavor.
  2. Grill the Pork: Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Place the marinated pork on the grill and cook for 15-20 minutes per side until cooked through, aiming for an internal temperature of 145°F.
  3. Let it Rest: Once done, remove the pork from the grill and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  4. Slice the Pork: After resting, slice the pork into small, bite-sized pieces.
  5. Warm the Tortillas: Heat the tortillas on the grill or stovetop for 20-30 seconds per side until they are warm and pliable.
  6. Assemble the Tacos: Place a generous portion of pork on each tortilla, then top with diced onions, bright cilantro, and your choice of salsa.
  7. Serve & Enjoy: Present your tacos with lime wedges and extra salsa on the side.

Notes

For best flavor, marinate the pork overnight. If grilling isn’t an option, try using an air fryer at 375°F for about 25-30 minutes.
