- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Cumin
- 1 tsp Oregano
- Salt and Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Marinate the Pork: In a mixing bowl, combine achiote paste, minced garlic, cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper. Coat the pork shoulder thoroughly with the marinade.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least two hours or overnight for deeper flavor.
- Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat. Cook the marinated pork until fully cooked (20-25 minutes on the grill or 45-60 minutes in the oven).
- Slice the Pork Thinly: After cooking, let the pork rest and then slice thinly.
- Warm the Tortillas: On the grill or in a skillet until pliable.
- Assemble Your Tacos: Place sliced pork in each tortilla, add onions, cilantro, lime juice, and salsa.
