Description

A vibrant and flavorful twist on traditional hummus, Taco Hummus combines creamy chickpeas with zesty taco ingredients for a delicious dip.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 cup pico de gallo
  • 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
  • Olive oil (for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Add the washed and drained chickpeas, tahini, lime juice, garlic, cumin, and a pinch of salt to your food processor. Blend until smooth, pausing to scrape down the sides as needed.
  2. Fold in the pico de gallo and chopped cilantro until just combined.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the top and serve immediately with tortilla chips or veggie sticks.

Notes

Taco Hummus can be made ahead; it tastes even better after a day in the fridge. Store in an airtight container for up to three days.
