Description

A delicious and nutritious breakfast option, combining the sweetness of strawberries with creamy oats, perfect for busy mornings.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups milk (or plant-based milk)
  • 1 cup strawberries, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Combine 1 cup of rolled oats, 2 cups of milk, 2 tablespoons of honey, 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt in a bowl or jar. Stir well.
  2. Fold in the chopped strawberries, mixing well.
  3. Cover the bowl or jar tightly and refrigerate overnight.
  4. Stir well the following morning, adding a splash more milk if desired, and enjoy right from the jar or in a bowl.

Notes

For meal prep, these oats can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for up to five days. For a warm option, heat before serving.
