- 8 oz spaghetti
- 1 lb ground beef (or sausage)
- 1 jar (24 oz) pizza sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup pepperoni slices
- 1/2 cup diced bell peppers
- 1/2 cup sliced black olives
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook spaghetti: Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain it and set it aside.
- Brown the meat: In a non-stick skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
- Simmer the sauce: Stir in the pizza sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Allow it to simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Combine ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, toss the cooked spaghetti with the meat sauce, half of the mozzarella cheese, and half of the pepperoni.
- Fill the baking dish: Transfer the spaghetti mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Top it off: Sprinkle the rest of the mozzarella cheese, followed by the remaining pepperoni, bell peppers, and black olives.
- Bake: Place the dish in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Cool and serve: Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
