Description

A flavorful and versatile seasoned ground beef recipe perfect for taco night, offering a blend of spices and textures that elevate every bite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup bell peppers, diced (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat until it shimmers.
  2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic; sauté for 3-4 minutes until the onion becomes translucent and fragrant.
  3. Increase the heat and add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula as it browns, cooking until no pink remains, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in the taco seasoning and bell peppers (if using); cook for an additional 5 minutes until everything is heated through.
  5. Serve in taco shells or wraps with your favorite toppings.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months. This seasoned beef can also be reheated in a skillet over low heat for tenderness.
