Description

Delicious and flaky feta rolls drizzled with a sweet-spicy honey chili sauce, perfect for appetizers or snacks.


Ingredients

  • 1 package Wheat Phyllo Dough
  • 1 cup Crumbled Feta Cheese
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 1 tsp Chili Flakes
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Take one sheet of phyllo dough and brush it with olive oil.
  3. Layer another sheet directly on top and lightly brush it with olive oil.
  4. Scatter crumbled feta along one edge of the phyllo sheet.
  5. Roll the dough tightly around the cheese to create a snug roll.
  6. Repeat with the remaining sheets and feta.
  7. Place the rolls seam-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden and crispy.
  9. In a small saucepan, warm honey over medium heat and stir in chili flakes.
  10. Drizzle the honey mixture over the rolls before serving.

Notes

Work quickly with phyllo dough to avoid it drying out. Try adding spinach or sun-dried tomatoes for variations.
