- 2 packets Ramen noodles
- 4 cups crispy cabbage (Napa or green cabbage), chopped
- 1 cup mandarin oranges, peeled and segmented
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 green onions, sliced (optional)
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process.
- Combine the cabbage, mandarin oranges, and cooled ramen noodles in a large mixing bowl.
- Whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, vinegar, and sugar in a separate bowl until smooth.
- Dress the salad by pouring the dressing over the noodle mixture and tossing gently to coat.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds if using.
- Chill the salad in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
For best freshness, prepare the dressing separately and add just before serving. Customize by adding grilled chicken or tofu if desired.
