Description

Tender pulled pork tacos seasoned with spices and topped with fresh vegetables and lime.


Ingredients

  • 8 small corn or flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • Lime wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Layer the ingredients: In your slow cooker, position the pork shoulder, followed by the chopped onion and minced garlic. Evenly sprinkle chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper over everything. Don’t be shy—mix it all together gently to ensure each piece is coated in those enticing spices.
  2. Set the slow cooker: Program your slow cooker to low heat and let it work its magic for 8 hours.
  3. Shred the pork: Once cooking time lapses, grab two forks and gently shred the pork in the cooker.
