Description

Delightful Puff Pastry Hot Dogs wrapped in flaky pastry, perfect for parties and casual dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 package puff pastry
  • 8 hot dogs
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Flour (for dusting)
  • Ketchup (for serving)
  • Mustard (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick.
  3. Cut the pastry into strips wide enough to wrap around the hot dogs (about 1 inch).
  4. Wrap each hot dog in a strip of puff pastry, sealing the edges.
  5. Place the wrapped hot dogs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Brush the pastry with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Serve hot with ketchup and mustard.

Notes

You can assemble the Puff Pastry Hot Dogs the day before and store them in the fridge. Air fry them for a healthier option as well.
