Description

Indulge in the delightful combination of warm cinnamon rolls and rich pecan pie flavors, topped with caramel and toasted pecans.


Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup pecan pie filling
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup toasted pecans

Instructions

  1. Combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast in a large bowl; let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add melted butter, egg, and salt to the mixture, then gradually mix in flour.
  3. Knead dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for about 1 hour until doubled in size.
  5. Roll the dough into a rectangle and spread pecan pie filling on top, sprinkling with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  6. Tightly roll the dough into a cylinder and slice into 1 to 2-inch pieces.
  7. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish, cut side up, and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  8. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Drizzle with warm caramel sauce and sprinkle with toasted pecans before serving.
