Description

Delightful oven-fried feta rolls with a crispy exterior, creamy feta filling, and a kick of spicy chili honey.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz Feta Cheese, crumbled
  • 8 sheets Phyllo Pastry
  • 4 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 tbsp Chili Honey
  • Fresh Herbs (Parsley, Dill), to taste
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • Roasted Vegetables (Zucchini, Bell Peppers, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Crumble the feta cheese into a mixing bowl, seasoning lightly with salt and pepper.
  3. Lay out a sheet of phyllo pastry and brush lightly with olive oil.
  4. Place a handful of crumbled feta along one edge of the pastry.
  5. Roll the pastry tightly around the cheese, tucking in the edges.
  6. Repeat with the remaining ingredients.
  7. Place the rolls on a parchment-lined baking sheet and brush the tops with olive oil.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Drizzle with spicy chili honey before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, customize the filling with different cheeses or spices. Serve with tzatziki or a fresh salad.
