- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Optional: additional powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Blend the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, lemon juice, and lemon zest until smooth and creamy.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles.
- Spoon about a tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll the dough from the wide end to the point, enclosing the filling.
- Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spaced apart.
- Beat the egg and brush it over the rolls.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving warm.
