Description

Delightful lemon cream cheese-filled crescent rolls, perfect for brunch or a sweet snack.


Ingredients

  • 1 can crescent roll dough
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Optional: additional powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Blend the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, lemon juice, and lemon zest until smooth and creamy.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles.
  4. Spoon about a tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Roll the dough from the wide end to the point, enclosing the filling.
  6. Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spaced apart.
  7. Beat the egg and brush it over the rolls.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Dust with powdered sugar before serving warm.

Notes

Make-ahead tips: Prepare the filling the night before for convenience. You can also use an air fryer at 320°F for faster cooking.
