- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish
- Lime wedges, for serving
Instructions
- Whisk the marinade: In a mixing bowl, combine honey, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper. Whisk until the mixture is smooth and well blended.
- Marinate the shrimp: Add the shrimp into the marinade, tossing gently to ensure every piece is coated. Let it sit for at least 15 minutes to absorb the flavors.
- Prepare the grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Skewer the shrimp: Thread the marinated shrimp onto skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
- Grill the shrimp: Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 2–3 minutes on each side or until the shrimp are opaque and have nice char marks.
- Garnish and serve: Once grilled, remove from the grill, garnish with fresh cilantro, and serve alongside lime wedges.
