Description

Deliciously grilled shishito peppers with a sweet, earthy flavor and a hint of heat. Perfect as an appetizer or side dish!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 10 oz shishito peppers
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1 lemon (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
  2. Coat the peppers in a bowl with olive oil and sea salt.
  3. Grill the peppers for 5–7 minutes, turning occasionally, until blistered and charred.
  4. Remove from the grill and serve on a plate.
  5. Add fresh lemon juice if desired before serving.

Notes

Enjoy fresh for the best flavor. They can also be sautéed or air-fried.
