Description

A beautifully glazed ham that combines savory richness with sweet and tangy flavors, perfect for any celebration.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 fully cooked ham (about 810 pounds)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Score the surface of the ham in a diamond pattern.
  3. Mix the brown sugar, honey, orange juice, pineapple juice, ground cloves, cinnamon, and ginger until smooth.
  4. Brush the glaze generously over the ham.
  5. Place the ham in a roasting pan and cover loosely with foil.
  6. Bake for approximately 15-18 minutes per pound, basting occasionally with the glaze.
  7. Remove the foil during the last 30 minutes of baking.
  8. Let the ham rest for about 15 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Prepare the glaze a day in advance for added convenience. Consider adding Dijon mustard for extra flavor.
