Description

A savory and comforting meatloaf infused with garlic and Parmesan, perfect for family gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 pound ground pork
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onions
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine the ground beef and ground pork in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Add the breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan cheese.
  4. Break in the eggs and fold the mixture gently to combine.
  5. Mix in the minced garlic, chopped onions, parsley, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until just combined.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a prepared loaf pan, shaping it into a loaf.
  7. Bake for about 60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Make-ahead: Prepare the meatloaf a day in advance and refrigerate overnight. Consider adding diced bell peppers or swapping the garlic for roasted garlic for variations.
