A refreshing sorbet made with blood orange juice and champagne, perfect for summer gatherings.
Ingredients

- 2 cups fresh blood orange juice
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup champagne or sparkling wine
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Combine the fresh blood orange juice and sugar in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir gently until the sugar dissolves completely.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and allow it to cool to room temperature.
- Stir in the champagne and lemon juice until well blended.
- Pour the mixture into a shallow container and freeze for about 2 hours, stirring with a fork every 30 minutes.
- Let the sorbet freeze until firm for an additional 4 to 6 hours.
- Serve by scooping the sorbet into chilled bowls or glasses and garnish with a mint sprig.
Notes
Make-ahead tips: Prepare a day in advance for the best flavor. Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to one week.
