Description
Deviled Brownies are a whimsical twist on traditional fudgy brownies, featuring a creamy center and a delightful contrast of textures.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup frosting for ‘yolk’
- Sprinkles for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch brownie pan.
- Melt the butter in a large mixing bowl, then stir in the granulated sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, ensuring each one is fully incorporated before adding the next.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Slowly fold this dry mixture into the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan, smoothing the top. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let the brownies cool completely in the pan.
- Fill a piping bag with frosting and carefully pipe it into the center of each brownie.
- Sprinkle with colorful sprinkles and serve.
Notes
The batter can be prepared a day ahead and stored in the fridge. For a vegan option, consider realigning the ingredients.
