Description

Deliciously crispy balls filled with corned beef, sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese, perfect for game day or holiday celebrations.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup corned beef, chopped
  • 1 cup sauerkraut, drained
  • 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Combine corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, cream cheese, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and onion powder in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Scoop out portions and shape them into 1-inch balls.
  3. Prepare a dipping station with beaten eggs and breadcrumbs.
  4. Dip each ball in the eggs, then roll in the breadcrumbs to coat.
  5. Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium heat.
  6. Fry the balls in batches for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Remove and drain on paper towels before serving.

Notes

For extra crispiness, consider using panko breadcrumbs. You can also experiment with different cheeses.
