Description

A rich and indulgent creamy spinach dip, perfect for gatherings and paired with a variety of dippers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh spinach (or 1 cup frozen, thawed and drained)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 tsp garlic powder)
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Baked pita chips or crackers, for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare your crockpot or choose an oven-safe dish for the oven method. Ensure the cream cheese is softened before starting.
  2. Combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, grated Parmesan, and shredded mozzarella cheese in the crockpot or mixing bowl. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Fold in the chopped spinach until evenly distributed.
  4. Add minced or powdered garlic, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Adjust seasonings to taste.
  5. Cook in the crockpot on low for 2-3 hours, or bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes until bubbly.
  6. Stir just before serving and enjoy with warm baked pita chips or crackers.

Notes

Make ahead for convenience! Store in the fridge and reheat before serving. Customize with add-ins like artichokes or different cheeses.
