Description

Delightful Cannoli Cookies that merge the creamy filling of traditional cannoli with a tender cookie exterior, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the ricotta cheese, softened butter, and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl, then gradually fold into the wet ingredients.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips and orange zest.
  6. Drop spoonfuls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
  8. Allow to cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a cooling rack.
