Description

A vibrant and nutrious cabbage stir fry featuring colorful vegetables and ground beef, perfect for quick dinners or gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 cups cabbage, shredded
  • 1 cup bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup carrots, julienned
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Scallions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Brown the beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, approximately 5-7 minutes, breaking it apart with a spatula. Drain excess fat.
  2. Sauté aromatics: Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Cook the veggies: Add the shredded cabbage, sliced bell pepper, and julienned carrots into the skillet. Cook for 5-7 minutes until tender yet slightly crunchy.
  4. Season it up: Pour in the soy sauce and sesame oil, seasoning generously with salt and pepper. Toss to coat.
  5. Serve hot: Transfer the stir fry to a serving dish and garnish with chopped scallions.

Notes

Use fresh vegetables for better flavor and nutrition. Customize by adding other vegetables or proteins like tofu.
