Description

A delicious and elegant dish of salmon glazed with a sweet bourbon and blackberry mixture, perfect for any special occasion or cozy dinner.


Ingredients

  • 4 Salmon Fillets (skin-on)
  • 1 cup Blackberries
  • 1/2 cup Bourbon
  • 2 tablespoons Honey or Brown Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 2 cloves Minced Garlic
  • Salt and Pepper (to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine the bourbon, honey or brown sugar, soy sauce, and minced garlic in a small saucepan and simmer for 5-7 minutes until thickened.
  3. Place the salmon fillets in a baking dish, season with salt and pepper, and drizzle with olive oil.
  4. Top the salmon with blackberries and pour the bourbon glaze over the fillets.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Serve warm, garnished with additional blackberries and fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

Make-ahead tip: Prepare the glaze in advance and refrigerate. For quick cooking, use an air fryer and adjust the time to about 10-12 minutes.
