- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4–5 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1 package of soft cookies (like Nilla Wafers or graham crackers)
- Chocolate syrup (for drizzling, optional)
Instructions
- Whip the cream in a large mixing bowl until soft peaks form.
- Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, continuing to whip until stiff peaks form.
- Layer a single layer of cookies at the bottom of a 9×13 inch dish.
- Spread a layer of the whipped cream mixture over the cookies.
- Add the sliced bananas on top of the cream.
- Repeat layering cookies, whipped cream, and bananas until all ingredients are used.
- Chill covered with plastic wrap for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Add chocolate syrup just before serving, if desired.
Notes
The cake improves with time, so prepare it a day in advance for the best flavor.
