Description

A delightful cobbler combining ripe bananas and cream cheese in a warm, buttery crust, perfect for gatherings and cozy family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine cream cheese and sugar in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Add eggs, melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract; stir until well combined.
  4. Mix dry ingredients separately, then gradually add to the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Fold in sliced bananas carefully.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool slightly before serving warm.
