Description

A wholesome and flavorful teriyaki ground turkey bowl with fresh vegetables over rice, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup sliced carrots
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium heat until fragrant.
  2. Add the ground turkey to the skillet and cook while breaking it apart until evenly browned and no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in the broccoli florets and sliced carrots, cooking until the vegetables are vibrant and tender, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Pour the teriyaki sauce over the mixture, stirring to coat everything evenly, and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
