- 2 lobster tails (frozen or fresh)
- 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 1 lemon, cut into wedges
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon smoked salt
- 1 teaspoon crushed garlic
- 2 tablespoons dried parsley
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 450ºF. Line your baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Whisk together 4 tablespoons of melted butter, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes, crushed garlic, and dried parsley until combined. Reserve 1 tablespoon for garnish.
- Slice the lobster tails lengthwise with kitchen scissors while keeping the meat intact.
- Separate the bottom membrane and lift the meat from the shell for presentation.
- Place the lobster tails on the baking sheet and brush meat with the butter mixture. Sprinkle with smoked salt.
- Bake for about 12-15 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 135ºF.
- Drizzle the reserved butter mixture over the tails and serve immediately with lemon wedges.
Notes
For added flavor, consider using fresh herbs and monitor cooking time closely to avoid overcooking.
