Description

Delicious spinach and cheese stuffed mushrooms that are perfect for entertaining guests.


Ingredients

  • 12 large mushrooms
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add chopped spinach and cook until wilted.
  5. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, sautéed spinach, salt, and pepper.
  6. Stuff each mushroom cap with the cheese and spinach mixture.
  7. Place stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 20 minutes or until the mushrooms are tender and the cheese is bubbly.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the filling.
  • These can be made ahead of time and baked just before serving.
  • Experiment with different cheeses for varied flavors.
