Description

A flavorful stir fry featuring tender chicken, vibrant vegetables, and a spicy-sweet gochujang sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 3 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add sliced chicken to the skillet and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in garlic and ginger; sauté for about 1 minute.
  4. Toss in bell pepper and onion; stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until tender yet crisp.
  5. In a bowl, mix gochujang, soy sauce, sesame oil, and honey until combined.
  6. Pour the sauce over chicken and vegetables, stirring well to coat. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.

Notes

Make-ahead tips: Slice your chicken and vegetables the night before for convenience. Cooking alternatives include sautéing chicken first and finishing in an air fryer.
