- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup Marsala wine
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 8 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
- Mix the Marsala wine, heavy cream, sliced mushrooms, minced garlic, chopped onion, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl until evenly combined.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken in the crockpot.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is thoroughly cooked and tender.
- Serve hot, garnished with freshly chopped parsley.
Notes
For best results, allow the chicken to marinate in the sauce for a while before cooking.
