- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (or dumpling dough)
Instructions
- Combine the chicken breasts, chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, and frozen mixed vegetables in the crockpot. Sprinkle the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper on top.
- Cover the crockpot and set it on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked and tender.
- Shred the chicken into bite-sized pieces and stir everything gently to combine.
- Add the biscuit dough torn into small chunks on top of the mixture in the crockpot and cover. Cook on high for an additional 30 minutes.
- Serve warm, enjoying the comforting flavors and aromas.
Notes
You can prepare ingredients ahead of time and store in the fridge for easy cooking. Substitute cream of chicken soup with cream of mushroom for a different flavor.
