Description

A sweet and savory salad made with fresh strawberries, creamy filling, and crunchy pretzels, perfect for summer gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 8 oz whipped topping
  • 1 cup pretzels, chopped
  • ½ cup pecans, chopped
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ¾ cup melted butter
  • 23 cups strawberries, diced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash, dry, and dice the strawberries. Set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine chopped pretzels, pecans, melted butter, and brown sugar. Stir until evenly coated.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 7–9 minutes until golden brown, then cool completely.
  6. In another bowl, beat together cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until fluffy.
  7. Fold in the whipped topping gently.
  8. Carefully incorporate the diced strawberries and the cooled crunch mixture.
  9. Serve immediately.
