Description

A delightful snack wrap combining tender chicken with a crispy exterior, creamy ranch dressing, and fresh veggies.


Ingredients

  • 1 chicken breast
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon ranch dressing
  • 1 large flour tortilla
  • 1 slice cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/4 cup diced tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the chicken breast horizontally to create two thinner pieces.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Season both sides of the chicken with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  5. Cook the chicken in the skillet for 4-5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
  6. Remove the chicken and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing into strips.
  7. Dredge each chicken strip in flour, dip in beaten egg, and coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  8. Place the breaded chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until crispy and golden.
  9. Spread ranch dressing on the tortilla and top with cheddar cheese.
  10. Arrange the crispy chicken strips over the cheese, then add lettuce and tomatoes.
  11. Wrap the tortilla tightly, enclosing the fillings.
  12. Serve immediately for best flavor.

Notes

For added spice, mix in cayenne pepper with the seasonings or add sriracha to the ranch dressing.
