- 1/4 cup (60ml) milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons (25g) granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons (28g) unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine granulated sugar and ground cinnamon to create the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- In a shallow dish, whisk together eggs, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Flatten each slice of bread using a rolling pin, then spread melted butter on one side and sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Roll each slice tightly from one end to the other.
- Dip each roll-up into the egg mixture ensuring they are well-coated.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the roll-ups seam-side down until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Serve hot, dusted with additional cinnamon sugar.
