Description

A delightful banana bread with a crunchy cinnamon crumb topping, perfect for breakfast or a cozy snack.


Ingredients

  • 4 Medium Ripe Bananas
  • 1 Cup Granulated Sugar
  • 2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/2 Cup Butter
  • 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Flour
  • 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/4 Cup Butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the ripe bananas by mashing them until smooth.
  3. Mix the granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, and egg with the mashed bananas.
  4. Combine the dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, and cinnamon) in a separate bowl.
  5. Blend the dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Prepare the crumb topping by mixing brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon, then crumbling in the cold butter.
  7. Assemble the loaf by layering half of the banana mixture and then half of the crumb topping, followed by the remaining banana batter and crumb topping.
  8. Bake for 60–70 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool for 10 minutes in the pan, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  10. Slice and serve the warm banana bread.
