Description

A soft, tender banana bread with rich chocolate chips, perfect for breakfast, snacks, or dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and ensure your 4×8 inch loaf pan is well-greased.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Stir in the melted butter to create a rich mixture.
  4. Combine the baking soda and salt, then add the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract, mixing thoroughly.
  5. Fold in the all-purpose flour, stirring until just incorporated.
  6. Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips.
  7. Pour the batter into your greased loaf pan and level the top.
  8. Bake for 60-65 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
  9. Let the loaf cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.

Notes

Use ripe bananas for best flavor; can be made ahead and baked later.
