Delicious hoagies filled with cheesy meatballs and marinara sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners or family gatherings.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 lb ground pork
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 4 hoagie rolls
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper until just combined.
- Shape the mixture into meatballs, about the size of a golf ball.
- Place the meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- While the meatballs bake, heat the marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Once the meatballs are done, add them to the sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Split the hoagie rolls and lay them on a baking tray.
- Spoon the meatballs and sauce into each roll, then sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Return the hoagies to the oven and bake for another 5-10 minutes, until the cheese melts and bubbles.
- Remove from the oven and serve hot.
