Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs

  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth to make the cheesecake filling.
  8. Take a small amount of cookie dough, flatten it, and place a spoonful of cheesecake filling in the center. Enclose the filling with the dough and roll into a ball.
  9. Place the cookie balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  10. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  11. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
