- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth to make the cheesecake filling.
- Take a small amount of cookie dough, flatten it, and place a spoonful of cheesecake filling in the center. Enclose the filling with the dough and roll into a ball.
- Place the cookie balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
