Description

A delightful sandwich featuring perfectly seared blackened salmon, fresh veggies, and a creamy sauce, all nestled in a soft toasted bun.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 Salmon Fillets
  • 2 tbsp Cajun Seasoning
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 Hamburger Buns
  • 1 cup Lettuce (Romaine or Arugula)
  • 1 Tomato (sliced)
  • 4 tbsp Creamy Sauce (mayonnaise or aioli)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your skillet over medium-high heat until it’s nice and hot.
  2. Rub the salmon fillets with olive oil and sprinkle Cajun seasoning generously on both sides.
  3. Place the salmon in the skillet and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side.
  4. Toast the hamburger buns lightly in the skillet or toaster.
  5. Assemble the sandwich with the bottom bun, blackened salmon, lettuce, tomato, and creamy sauce.
  6. Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.

Notes

For an extra flavor kick, consider adding avocado or pickles.
