Description

A delightful twist on traditional lasagna infused with Asian flavors, combining dumplings, fresh vegetables, and melty cheese.

Ingredients

  • Dumplings (fresh or frozen)
  • Soy Sauce
  • Ground Meat (pork, chicken, or tofu)
  • Shredded Cabbage
  • Sliced or Shredded Carrots
  • Chopped Green Onions
  • Mozzarella Cheese (or a blend)
  • Minced Garlic
  • Minced Ginger
  • Vegetable Oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat vegetable oil over medium heat in a large skillet.
  3. Sauté the minced garlic and ginger until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  4. Add ground meat or tofu, breaking it apart with a spatula, and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Stir in cabbage, carrots, and soy sauce; cook until veggies are tender, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Layer in a baking dish: first dumplings, then half of the meat and veggie mixture, and a sprinkle of cheese.
  7. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with cheese on top.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  9. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For make-ahead tips, assemble the lasagna a day in advance and store in the fridge. For quicker cooking, use an air fryer.
